SIM is a high-temperature resistant insulation material produced by mixing inorganic materials with mica through a special process. It offers superior thermal insulation performance.
Thanks to its lightweight and thin structure, it helps reduce the weight and volume of the products it is applied to, thereby providing a cost advantage. Its high flexibility allows it to be applied in various forms.
Special coated versions are also available to enhance surface quality and performance.
Thanks to its low thermal conductivity, SIM provides effective thermal insulation and is primarily used in EV battery cells and modules. It is also suitable for industrial applications requiring ultra-high heat resistance.
In tests conducted according to the UL2596 standard, SIM material, at 0.8 mm thickness, demonstrated superior fire resistance performance by withstanding 4 cycles in the Torch & Grit Test.
