Phlogopite Mica Tape
Phlogopite mica tape is used in fire-resistant cable constructions. It is produced by combining phlogopite mica paper with highly flexible carrier (support) materials. This makes it highly flexible and allows it to be easily wrapped around very thin/delicate conductors.
These types of cables are suitable for use in industrial applications requiring high-temperature insulation and in cables with fire survival ratings.
